Words Make Sense activities are designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years old and they last for 45 – 50 minutes.
In order to pay attention to all children and for teaching purposes, we have no more than 12 children in each class, but we need a minimum of 5 children in each class to be able to run it. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fill an advertised class, we will refund the fee in full or try to find an alternative day for a make up session.
Our classes are £15 each. Classes are booked on a termly basis, but also individually. We strongly advise booking in advance as classes can sell out quickly. It is sometimes possible to join part way through a term.
We are happy to arrange two make up classes per child, per term. These are subject to availability and we ask that you book in with us in advance. If your usual class is full, then we can arrange a make up class for another day depending on availability.
Children are welcome to join us for one trial class, subject to availability, for free. Trial classes can be booked in advance. If no spaces are available for your selected day, we will endeavor to find an alternative class for another date, please contact us.
Adult participation is a key part of our activities. Studies have shown that when children read and have an educational activity with a parent or carer, cognitive, emotional and social
development is enhanced. We also want your time at Words Make Sense to be a shared and enjoyable experience both for children and parents.
By booking you agree to the fact that no content will be copied or reproduced in any way. The adult in attendance will be fully responsible for your child for the duration of the class and your time in the venue and will not leave the child unattended at any point. Please note that teachers can’t take responsibility for your children.
